THE WEBSERIES

Noticing the absence of fictional content on social media and identifying the groundbreaking potential of using Instagram as a streaming platform, I embarked on creating "1 of Those Days." My aim was to bring captivating stories right to your daily scroll.

"1 of Those Days" is the first fictional, short-form episodic content on Instagram.

1 of Those Days consists of 12 micro-episodes that adapt to social audiences viewing habits, and engage with genuine comedy and compelling editing that speak to current generations.

 

The 12 vignettes are a collection of short stories that stand-alone and integrate into the overarching narrative. These short, tragic and comic situations capture brief periods in time in Mumiʼs day.

What if Instagram became a streaming service?

The series aims to innovate how fictional content could be developed and viewed in the future. The show was intentionally shot vertically on iPhone to look and feel as native content.

Female-Driven
Comedy.

A woman-centric story narrated from a female gaze thus shifting the mainstream narratives that are often saturated with problematic stereotypes.

With over 50k views, the series garnered attention from prominent news outlets, earning highly positive reviews and strong audience engagement. 

Story of a period. 

I  was incredibly privileged to participate in the 2021 Tribeca Creators Market, a one-of-a-kind, private industry pitch market for select emerging creators within the episodic, immersive, games and podcast space.
